The SSPC QP 6 (now AMPP QP 6) accreditation is used by facility owners or their protective coating specialists or specifying engineers to ensure that contractors hired to perform metallizing work have the skills and experience to do so. Metallizing is used to protect bridges, industrial or marine structures, or miscellaneous metal parts.

Unlike ISO 9001 certification, QS-1 allows Avalotis Corporation to provide the facility owner with the dual benefit of a coatings-industry specific QMS plus an ISO 9001 compliant QMS.
